Need information on Manuel/Manoel De Souza (De) Amorim - Távora (Santa Maria) - Arcos de Valdevez
Hello.
Sorry for not being able to speak in Portuguese.
I am looking for the birth or baptism certificate or any information on my great grand father Manoel (or Manuel) De Souza Amorim born the 16/05/1896 or the 6/06/1898. His father was Antonio José De Amorim and his mother was Maria De Souza.
He travelled to Brazil around 1920. He came back in France around 1921 and died in France in 1974.
Information that my grandmother gave me is that he travelled with his brother's passport because he deserted from military obligations
If you could please help me, that would be great. I have no other clue to find anything from him.

1 - The handwriting in this document is very hard to read.
2 - The scan quality is not very good too.
(And it is of course in Portuguese, it does not help)

I found Manuel on 1896,May 20 ,but the father´s name was Miguel Jose D àmorim and mother´s name was Rozaria.
On 1898,June 06 I found Domingos.

There are two wedding for Antonio Manoel D'Amorim, how is it possible to know which one is the correct one ?

My grand mother (daughter of Manuel) is dead.
And my father does not know much about this Portuguese part of the family.
My great-grand-mother is not one of the women you mentionned above (she was French).
So it looks like that my great-grand-father had an other family in Portugal, I will try to decipher the pages regarding the two weddings.
